South Georgia School of Real Estate


 Ron Branch, GRI, began teaching the Real Estate Pre-License Course at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College ten years ago.  He is an associate broker and co-owner of Century 21 Smith Branch & Pope, LLC in Tifton, Georgia.  Prior to entering the real estate profession full time, Ron spent 23 years with Georgia Power Company, mostly in and around the Atlanta area.  Then in 1994, he left the corporate world to pursue a long time dream of becoming a REALTOR, and he has been making up for lost time ever since.  

Ron also served as president of the Tiftarea Board of Realtors in 1999 and  in 2007.  He has served on and chaired many local board committees.  Ron currently serves on the Georgia Association of Realtors (GAR) Executive Committee, Education Committee, and REALTOR of the Year Committee.  Ron was a Governor of the Realtors Institute of Georgia (GRI) from 2000 to 2004, then in 2005 Ron served as the Dean of the school.  He is also a certified pre-license instructor for the Georgia Real Estate Commission. Furthermore,  he is an active life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club of the Tiftarea Board of Realtors, and he has received the prestigious Centurion Producer award from Century 21.

Serving in civic and community affairs is Ron's way of farming for real estate leads and giving something back, all at the same time.  He is past chairman of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce, has served on the Development Authority, and is active in Kiwanis and in Rotary.



Brenda Wood Smith began her real estate career in 1989 with the CENTURY 21® System and then in 1996, along with partner Ron Branch, purchased what is now CENTURY 21 Smith Branch & Pope LLC.    She has taught the Real Estate Pre-License Course at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College for ten years.

As managing broker, she believes that education and training are vital links to the quality service and success of the company. She has served as President of the South & Central Georgia Broker Council and represents Council Brokers at Regional Communications Congress with Century 21 International.  Brenda also served the Board of REALTORS as a Past President and current Director, & chairs the By-Laws and Regional Grievance Committees along with serving on the Regional  Professional Standards Board.

Her community activities include having served as President/Director for the local Habitat for Humanity and Hospice, past Director & V.P.of  Tifton/Tift County Chamber of Commerce and member of Carpenter Road Church of God.
